Adventures in Genealogy - Genealogy on Higher Ground

What is a Generation?

A Generation is defined as: a body of living beings constituting a single step in the line of descent from
an ancestor

For my purposes, I will research the Parents, their Children and simple spouse information as one generation. Children of each are considered a next generation, however simple name information may be added but not researched without considering a next generation fee.

How do you charge so little?

Two reasons. One, I have no official degree as stated. Two, because I love the thrill of the hunt! I absolutely would love to make this my full time career. Unless I can get four to eight people to hire me per month, I have to sustain a full time job as well.. Therefore, I charge for my time.  So, come on and hire me!

Are you a "Professional" Genealogist?

While I have no official degree in research, I have 20+ years of both Leg work and online research. I have volunteered for dozens of researchers over the years and have countless numbers of resources acquired throughout my years. While I consider myself a professional, I do so because of lifetime experience.

The application process for the BCG (Board Certified Genealogists) is beginning and is a very long and costly process. I hope to complete this process within the next 18 months. At which time, I will become a certified genealogist.
