The Holiday Season...

Ahhh, the holiday season is here. Time for family, friends and festivities. Oh but wait... that means there is more to do and less time to do it in. Great! 

I'm home today and thought I'd update the blog with a great new things that has been happening. 

I've had issues researching lately, nothing new jumping out at me and it puts a doom and gloom on your hopes of finding new information when you really want to.  No matter where I looked, what I did, or what I searched for, I just found searching Alabama to be time consuming and nearly impossible to find factual information on historic towns that are not on the historic register so to speak. Heck, it's tough enough just finding out historical documents on even the great pay sites out there let alone on searches of random websites.  So I began yet another new venture, but this one will be a great deal of help to my fellow Alabama researchers.  The new website is an addition to this family site with a focus on historical information pertaining to each place. A site I am dedicating to specific information, facts, and history of the state, it's counties and even it's towns. While currently, you will find only a couple counties with any information at all, give me time to fill this in.
